1)Cold galvanized pipe
Cold galvanizing refers to electro galvanizing. The amount of galvanizing is very small, only 10-50g/m2, and its corrosion resistance is much different from that of hot-dip galvanized pipe. In order to ensure the quality, most of the regular galvanized pipe manufacturers do not use galvanization (cold plating). Only those small enterprises with small scale and outdated equipment adopt galvanization, of course, their prices are relatively cheap.
2)Hot dip galvanized pipe
It is to make molten metal react with iron matrix to produce alloy layer, so as to combine the matrix and coating. Hot galvanizing refers to pickling the steel pipe first. In order to remove iron oxide on the steel pipe surface, after pickling, the steel pipe is cleaned in ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or mixed ammonium chloride and zinc chloride aqueous solution tank, and then sent to the hot dip tank.
3)Hot galvanized steel pipe
Complex physical and chemical reactions occur between the steel pipe substrate and the molten plating solution, forming a corrosion resistant zinc iron alloy layer with compact structure. The alloy layer is integrated with the pure zinc layer and the steel pipe matrix. Therefore, it has strong corrosion resistance.
4)Galvanized steel pipe is chemically treated and belongs to electrochemical reaction. "Galvanized iron pipe" is a physical treatment, only a layer of zinc is brushed on the surface, but there is no zinc in it, so the zinc layer is easy to fall off.
5)"Galvanized steel pipe" has a thick coating, so it has strong corrosion resistance. The coating of "galvanized iron pipe" is uniform and the surface quality is good. The coating thickness is generally between several microns and more than ten microns.
